Dva internacional'nyh kollektiva astronomov i astrofizikov polnost'yu razoshlis' v interpretacii rezul'tatov nedavnih nablyudenii pary neobychnyh, no pohozhih drug na druga sverhnovyh zvezd. Eta polemika predstavlena v stat'yah, kotorye 20maya poyavilis' v zhurnale Nature.
Obe zvezdy, SN2005E i SN2005cz, byli zamecheny pyat' let nazad, chto sleduet iz ih nazvanii. Eti sverhnovye ob'edinyaet celyi ryad obshih osobennostei, kotorye i privlekli k nim osoboe vnimanie specialistov. Vo-pervyh, pri zhizni oni vhodili v sostav galo staryh ellipticheskih galaktik s sil'no podavlennym processom zvezdoobrazovaniya i, kak sledstvie, deficitom molodyh massivnyh zvezd. Vo-vtoryh, ih absolyutnaya yarkost' sil'no ustupala yarkosti tipichnyh vzryvov sverhnovyh i k tomu zhe neobychno bystro padala sovremenem. Nakonec, primerno cherez polgoda posle pervogo poyavleniya sverhnovyh v ih spektrah bylo zaregistrirovano anomal'no vysokoe soderzhanie kal'ciya. Sleduet otmetit', chto v poslednie gody, krome SN2005E i SN2005cz, bylo obnaruzheno eshe shest' tusklyh sverhnovyh s sil'nymi spektral'nymi liniyami etogo elementa.
Sverhnovuyu SN2005cz 17iyulya 2005goda zametila gruppa, vozglavlyaemaya yaponskimi astronomami. Pervye snimki ee vzryva byli sdelany apparaturoi 60-santimetrovogo reflektora observatorii Itagaki (Itagaki Astronomical Observatory). Pozdnee ee nablyudali spomosh'yu bolee moshnyh instrumentov 220-santimetrovogo teleskopa observatorii Kalar Al'to (Calar Alto), 820-santimetrovogo Subaru (Subaru) i desyatimetrovogo KeckI. Analiz snimkov pokazal, chto istochnik vzryva nahoditsya v 13uglovyh sekundah ot yadra ellipticheskoi galaktiki NGC4589 iz sozvezdiya Drakona, raspolozhennoi v 80mln svetovyh let ot Solnca.
Avtory stat'i v Nature Kodzhi Kavabata (Koji Kawabata) i ego kollegi prishli k zaklyucheniyu, chto spektr SN2005cz vskore posle prohozhdeniya pika yarkosti sil'no napominal spektry sverhnovyh iz semeistvaIb. Ketoi gruppe otnosyat sverhnovye, rodivshiesya vrezul'tate gravitacionnogo kollapsa massivnyh zvezd, odnako ne demonstriruyushie ili pochti ne demonstriruyushie obychnye dlya takih sverhnovyh spektral'nye linii vodoroda (stol' zhe tipichnye linii geliya, odnako, prisutstvuyut). Odnako avtory stat'i priznayut, chto veroyatnost' pryamogo zvezdnogo soudareniya kraine mala, tak chto etot scenarii vryad li mog realizovat'sya na dele.

Kak otmetil professor Kavabata, eta model' pozvolyaet interpretirovat' dannye nablyudenii sverhnovoi SN2005cz, ne vyhodya za ramki standartnoi teorii zvezdnoi evolyucii.
V sostav drugoi gruppy vhodili uchenye iz SShA, Izrailya, Kanady, Italii, FRG, Velikobritanii i Chili. Oni rabotali s kal'cievoi sverhnovoi SN2005E, vspyhnuvshei v galaktike NGC1032 na rasstoyanii okolo 110millionov svetovyh let ot Solnechnoi sistemy. 13yanvarya 2005goda ee vzryv zapechatlel avtomatizirovannyi 76-santimetrovyi teleskop KAIT (Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope), prinadlezhashii Likskoi observatorii (Lick Observatory, Kaliforniya, SShA). Fotometricheskie i spektrometricheskie dannye nablyudenii SN2005E primerno analogichny dannym po SN2005cz razlichiya est', no oni ne slishkom znachitel'ny. Odnako Hagai Peretc (Hagai Perets) i ego kollegi smogli takzhe ocenit' obshuyu massu poslevzryvnogo vybrosa zvezdnogo veshestva (vosnovnom sostoyashego iz geliya i kal'ciya), chego ne udalos' sdelat' yaponskim astronomam. Ona lezhit v diapazone 0,20,4mass Solnca i potomu desyatikratno ustupaet analogichnomu pokazatelyu dlya sverhnovyh tipaIb. Ona takzhe primerno vtroe men'she massy vybrosov uzhe izuchennyh sverhnovyh tipaIa, kotorye rozhdayutsya vrezul'tate akkrecii vodoroda iz vneshnih sloev krasnogo giganta na raspolozhennyi po sosedstvu uglerodno-kislorodnyi belyi karlik.

Issledovateli sverhnovoi SN2005E ob'yasnili ee prirodu sovershenno v inyh terminah, nezheli yaponskie uchenye. Oni polagayut, chto imeli delo s novoi raznovidnost'yu akkrecionnyh sverhnovyh, predstaviteli kotoroi ves'ma sil'no otlichayutsya ot standartnyh chlenov semeistva sverhnovyh tipaIa. Vkachestve zvezdy-predshestvennicy oni predlagayut libo gelievyi belyi karlik konechnuyu stadiyu evolyucii legkih zvezd s massoi menee 0,5solnechnyh, libo chut' bolee tyazhelyi karlik s uglerodno-kislorodnym yadrom, pokrytyi gelievoi obolochkoi. On vhodil v sostav zvezdnoi pary, imeya v sosedyah drugoi legkii belyi karlik, takzhe bogatyi geliem. Eta vtoraya zvezda stala donorom geliya, kotoryi akkretiroval na SN2005E (tochnee, ee predshestvennicu) i zapustil termoyadernye reakcii, vyzvavshie vspyshku sverhnovoi. Esli eta interpretaciya verna, rech' idet o pervom otkrytii akkrecionnoi sverhnovoi, rozhdennoi vrezul'tate gravitacionnogo peretyagivaniya ot sosednei zvezdy ne vodoroda, a geliya.
Avtory novoi raboty polagayut, chto vzryv SN2005E privel k massovomu rozhdeniyu nestabil'nogo izotopa titana44Ti. Ego yadra preterpevali obratnyi beta-raspad (prikotorom odin iz vnutriyadernyh protonov prevrashaetsya v neitron s obrazovaniem pozitrona i neitrino), davaya nachalo radioaktivnomu skandiyu44Sc, kotoryi analogichnym obrazom prevrashalsya v stabil'nyi44Ca. Poih mneniyu, takie processy vnosili i vnosyat znachitel'nyi vklad v formirovanie kal'cievoi komponenty mezhzvezdnogo veshestva. Oni takzhe schitayut, chto opisannyi imi mehanizm yadernyh prevrashenii pokrainei mere chastichno ob'yasnyaet poyavlenie pozitronov v central'nyh oblastyah (baldzhah) mnozhestva galaktik, okotorom 5let nazad soobshili uchenye, analizirovavshie dannye kosmicheskoi gamma-observatorii Integral (INTEGRAL); sm. Itak, pered nami principial'no raznye modeli, interpretiruyushie rezul'taty nablyudenii dvuh shodnyh sverhnovyh. Ne isklyucheno, chto obe oni verny, kazhdaya dlya svoego ob'ekta no, kak govoritsya, vozmozhny varianty. Etu problemu razreshat budushie issledovaniya.
