Bal'merovskie linii samye sil'nye dlya zvezd klassa A0, no ochen' slabye v holodnyh zvezdah. Dve ul'trafioletovye linii ionizovannogo kal'ciya sil'nee v holodnyh zvezdah, togda kak natrii (Na) i okis' titana (TiO) sil'ny v spektrah naibolee holodnyh zvezd.
