Dinamicheskaya struktura poyasa asteroidov opredelyaetsya srednim dvizheniem i vekovymi rezonansami. Rezonansy razdelyayut chast' fazovogo prostranstva, sootvetstvuyushego poyasu asteroidov, na otdel'nye dinamicheski otlichnye zony. Oni deistvuyut na dvizhenie sosednih asteroidov, sozdayut lyuki v raspredelenii elementov orbit i t.d. Poetomu znanie raspolozheniya rezonansov vazhno dlya znaniya dinamicheskoi struktury poyasa asteroidov. Pervye popytki harakterizovat' rezonansnuyu dinamiku srednego dvizheniya byli predprinyaty A.
