Ne yasno imeet li eta shema otnoshenie k HD 80606b, tak kak vtoroi komponent u etoi zvezdy poka na obnaruzhen.

Odnako, kak i u mnogih drugih galaktik (vklyuchaya nashu) yadro M32 neaktivno. I vot s pomosh'yu Chandry udalos' zaregistrirovat' slabyi rentgenovskii potok ot yadra M32. Svetimost' yadra vsego v 500 raz bol'she svetimosti Solnca (tipichnaya "zvezdnaya" chernaya dyra v tesnoi dvoinoi sisteme mozhet davat' 1 000 000 svetimostei Solnca). Eto vsego tri milliardnyh ot Eddingtonovskoi svetimosti (sm. vyshe o kvazarah "na predele").
