Rasstoyaniya izmeryayutsya ne ochen' horosho, vozrasta - eshe huzhe. My vse vidim v proekcii na nebesnuyu sferu. A potomu v kazhdom konkretnom sluchae vopros o real'nosti svyazi mezhdu neitronnoi zvezdoi i ostatkom sverhnovoi trebuet podrobnogo razbiratel'stva (i vse ravno zachastuyu ostayutsya somneniya). V nebol'shom obzore avtor detal'no razbiraet etu problemu. Po vsei vidimosti ARP yavno pokazyvayut svyaz' s ostatkami, a vot MPG - net. Avtor vyskazyvaet gipotezu, chto eto mozhet byt' svyazano s tem, chto poslednie obrazovalis' v rezul'tate vzryvov bolee massivnyh zvezd.

    Po rentgenovskim nablyudeniyam na Chandre u odnoi iz blizhaishih sverhmoshnyh infrakrasnyh galaktik (ULIRG - UltraLuminous InfraRed Galaxy) obnaruzheno dvoinoe aktivnoe yadro. V optike u galaktiki uzhe nablyudalos' dvoinoe yadro, a takzhe vsyakie "koloski, voloski..." Eto svidetel'stvuet o tom, chto galaktika nahoditsya v rannei stadii sliyaniya. No po opticheskim (i IK) dannym bylo neyasno kakoe iz yader yavlyaetsya aktivnym. Rentgenovskie nablyudeniya pokazali, chto aktivny oba!

    V konce koncov dva yadra sol'yutsya. I to chto my vidim nachalo etogo processa daet dopolnitel'nuyu uverennost', chto kosmicheskomu detektoru gravitacionnyh voln - LISA - budet chto nablyudat'.
