Za podotchetnyi period poyavilos' neskol'ko privlekshih nashe vnimanie statei, svyazannyh so zvezdoobrazovaniem na bol'shih krasnyh smesheniyah. Nachnem s raboty Cosmic Infrared Background and Early Galaxy Evolution. Eto bol'shoi (97 stranic) obzor, posvyashennyi infrakrasnomu fonovomu izlucheniyu. Svyazano ono s summarnym vkladom mnozhestva galaktik. V osnovnom eto ob'ekty na bol'shih krasnyh smesheniyah. Poetomu odnim iz vazhneishih ingredientov, neobhodimyh dlya ob'yasneniya svoistv IK-fona, yavlyaetsya znanie tempa zvezdoobrazovaniya vo Vselennoi. Stat'ya Starbursts at z >~6: from the present to Herschel and ALMA rasskazyvaet o vozmozhnosti nablyudenii galaktik na bol'shih krasnyh smesheniyah na teleskopah Herschel i ALMA. Avtory polagayut, chto v sovsem nedalekom budushem my poluchim novuyu sushestvennuyu informaciyu o samyh pervyh galaktikah. (sm. takzhe stat'yu teh zhe avtorov po toi zhe tematike: Stellar populations and Lyman-alpha emission from lensed z>6 galaxies). Samye pervye zvezdy otnosyat k t.n. populyacii III (Population III). Eto byli massivnye zvezdy, sostoyashie v osnovnom iz vodoroda i geliya (metallichnost' ih chrezvychaino mala). Imenno vzryvy etih ob'ektov obogatili nashu Vselennuyu tyazhelymi elementami. O chisle i vozmozhnostyah nablyudeniya pervyh sverhnovyi idet rech' v stat'e The Number and Observability of Population III Supernovae at High Redshifts.
