Otsyuda vytekaet interesnoe "v-tret'ih". Planeta imeet massu v dva raza men'she, chem u Yupitera, a razmer v poltora raza bol'she, eto privodit k samoi nizkoi plotnosti sredi vseh izvestnyh planet (razumeetsya, tut vazhno to, chto blizost' zvezdy razogrevaet atmsoferu planety, chto privodit k ee rasshireniyu, tak chto nado byt' ostorozhnym v vostorgah). Naklonenie orbity sostavlyaet pochti 90 gradusov!

Poetomu stroyatsya gigantskie ustanovki, sposobnye poluchat' dannye o potoke chastic na bol'shoi ploshadi. Est' raznye metodiki nablyudeniya takih chastic, raznye sposoby ocenki ih energii. V techenii ryada let shel spor o tom, nablyudaetsya li zaval ili net. V amerikanskom eksperimente HiRes uchenym udalos' uvidet' zaval. Etot rezul'tat i opisan v stat'e. Rezul'taty yaponskogo eksperimenta (Agasa) neskol'ko protivorechivy. Na protyazhenii rada let ego avtory zayavlyali ob otsutstvii zavala. No v poslednee vremya posle pereobrabotki dannym s pomosh'yu novogo programmnogo obespecheniya (paket CORSIKA) byl poluchen rezul'tat, sovmestimyi s dannymi HiRes. Znachimost' rezul'tatov ne slishkom vysokaya, poetomu pridetsya zhdat' rezul'tatov eksperimenta Ozhe.
