Etot potok chastic bolee effektivno ostanavlival kosmicheskie luchi. T.o. potok kosmicheskih luchei, popadayushii na Zemlyu, byl slabee. Kak izvestno, kosmicheskie luchi igrayut dovol'no vazhnuyu klimatoobrazuyushuyu rol'. Sobiraya vmeste vse eti idei i dobavlyaya variacii galakticheskogo potoka kosmicheskih luchei (sm. ego bolee rannyuyu stat'yu), Nir ob'yasnyaet, kak pri tusklom Solnce na Zemle mogla sushestvovat' zhidkaya voda.

My pisali i gipoteze "edinstvennogo istochnika", kogda izlom v spektre ob'yasnyaetsya ne kakoi-to vselenskoi osobennost'yu, a prosto svyazyvaetsya s blizkih (desyatki-sotni parsek) nedavnim (10 000 let) vzryvom sverhnovoi. Ostatok etoi sverhnovoi i budet davat' ves' effekt.

V dannoi stat'e avtory predlagayut kandidata: eto Monogem Ring - blizkii ostatok sverhnovoi. Po vsei vidimosti, posle vzryva ostalas' neitronnaya zvezda, kotoruyu my vidim kak pul'sar PSR B0656+14.

Osnovnym dostoinstvom, po mneniyu sozdatelei ustanovki, yavlyaetsya horoshee (dlya dannogo diapazona) uglovoe razreshenie, dostigaemoe blagodarya provolochnym kameram (za razrabotku etih ustroistv v 1992 g. Sharpak poluchil Nobelevskuyu premiyu). Sobstvenno, nichego vydayushegosya v samoi ustanovke net. Prosto, na nash vzglyad, ona yavlyaetsya pokazatel'nym primerom nebol'shih nedorogih eksperimentov, kotoryh sushestvuet dostatochno mnogo. (Polnaya stoimost', ukazannaya na stranice proekta, poryadka milliona dollarov. Seichas proekt ishet chastnoe sponsorstvo, poteryav podderzhku Nacional'nogo Nauchnogo Fonda. Povtorimsya, nichego vydayushegosya v etih dostizheniyah net. No, vozmozhno, komu-to budet interesno pochitat' pro rabotu nebol'shih ustanovok v SShA.

Mnogie navernoe pomnyat diskussii po povodu vozmozhnosti sozdaniya mikroskopicheskih (i dazhe menee togo, i slova-to podhodyashego net) chernyh dyr na uskoritelyah. V prirode eto postoyanno proishodit samo soboi (imeyutsya vvidu stolknoveniya ochen' energichnyh chastic) blagodarya sushestvovaniyu kosmicheskih luchei sootvetstvuyushih energii. Vopros v tom, kakova ona - "sootvetstvuyushaya energiya". Esli eto plankovskii masshtab, to zabud'te i pro uskoriteli, i pro kosmicheskie luchi. No v sovremennyh mnogomernyh teoriyah masshtab okazyvaetsya kuda kak men'she plankovskogo: rech' idet vsego lish' o TeVah. Takie luchi my vidim, tochnee vidim t.n. shirokie atmosfernye livni (ShALy), porozhdaemye etimi chasticami.

Avtory obsuzhdayut, kak mozhno popytat'sya uvidet' (ili zakryt') effekty, svyazannye s raspadom ob'ektov, obrazuyushihsya pri vzaimodeistvii kosmicheskih luchei sverhvysokih energii s chasticami v atmosfere Zemli. Naprimer, esli obrazuetsya ochen' malen'kaya chernaya dyra, to ona budet tut zhe "isparyat'sya", i, sootvetstvenno, my budem videt' produkty etogo "ispareniya". Okazyvaetsya, chto nesmotrya na vsyu ekzotiku otlichit' raspad ekzoticheskogo ob'ekta ot obychnyh reakcii ne tak-to i prosto. No mozhno. Avtory pokazyvayut, kakie osobennosti budut "vydavat'" raspad gravitacionnyh ob'ektov. Pravda, v etoi korotkoi zametke oni ne obsuzhdayut, na kakih ustanovkah mozhno provesti reshayushie nablyudeniya...

Obsuzhdaya svyaz' ekzoticheskoi fundamental'noi fiziki i astronomii vysokih energii, otmetim, chto nablyudeniya chastic vysokih energii potencial'no mogut davat' vazhnuyu informaciyu ob ochen' mnogih fundamental'nyh processah na bol'shih energeticheskih masshtabah. V chastnosti, est' vazhnye astronomicheskie predely na vozmozhnoe narushenie lorenc-invariantnosti. V rezul'tate lyubaya chastica (v tom chisle malomassivnaya ili bezmassovaya) porozhdaet tak nazyvaemuyu "bashnyu Kalucy-Kleina" - semeistvo chastic, sootvetstvuyushih raznym urovnyam vozbuzhdeniya po zamknutomu izmereniyu. Vse chasticy "bashni" krome pervoi - ochen' tyazhelye. Vozniknovenie "bashni" - chisto geometricheskii effekt - on deistvuet na lyubye chasticy ne zavisimo ot ih svoistv.

Otobrat' energiyu u tyazhelyh chastic "bashni" mozhno, naprimer, stolknuv dve takie chasticy. V rezul'tate takogo stolknoveniya voznikayut dve chasticy kosmicheskih luchei so sverhvysokoi energiei. Ravnomernoe raspredelenie KK-chastic v prostranstve delaet ih stolknoveniya kraine redkimi, odnako esli oni skoncentrirovany v kompaktnyh ob'ektah (zvezdah, relyativistskih zvezdah, MACHO i t.d.) ili obrazuyut sobstvennye skopleniya (svyazannye sostoyaniya KK-chastic), to rassmatrivaemyi mehanizm generacii vysokoenergichnyh chastic stanovitsya bolee real'nym.

Proishozhdenie kosmicheskih luchei sverhvysokih energii ostaetsya zagadkoi. Situaciya nemnogo pohozha na tu, chto byla s kosmicheskimi gamma-vspleskami do sputnika BeppoSAX. I tochno takzhe raznye avtory pytayutsya issledovat' problemu raspredeleniya nablyudaemyh sobytii na nebe.


Na nizhnem risunke pokazano raspredelenie na nebe 99 sobytii: 49 ot ustanovki SUGAR, rabotavshei v Avstralii s yanvarya 1968 g. po fevral' 1979, i 50 ot yaponskoi ustanovki AGASA, rabotayushei s aprelya 1990 g. po nastoyashee vremya (ispol'zovany dannye do maya 2000 g.). Nikakoi aniztropii glazom ne vidno. Detal'nyi analiz (sm. verhnii risunok) podtverzhdaet takoi vyvod. Na verhnem risunke pokazano raspredelenie intensivnosti kosmicheskih luchei s energiyami vyshe 1019.6 eV v ekvatorial'nyh koordinatah. Vse horosho soglasuetsya so sluchainym raspredeleniem.

Etoi zhe tematike posvyashena korotkaya zametka K.Hoivata i dr. (astro-ph/0305206) "Chislennyi analiz dostovernosti anizotropii kosmicheskih luchei".

Horosho izvestna problema s kosmicheskimi luchami sverhvysokih energii. Obychno upominayut dva eksperimenta v etoi oblasti: AGASA i HiRes. Krome nih kosmicheskie luchi samyh-samyh bol'shih energii vidit eshe i Yakutskii eksperiment.

V stat'e opisyvaetsya izmerenie spektra kosmicheskih luchei na energiyah vyshe 1015 eV. Rezul'taty sravnivayutsya s poluchennymi drugimi eksperimentami (Akeno, AGASA i HiRes). Na energiyah nizhe primerno 1019 eV eksperimenty dayut pohozhie rezul'taty. Na bolee vysokih energiyah poyavlyayutsya razlichiya (yakutskie rezul'taty lezhat, kstati, eshe vyshe AGASA), no zdes' veliki neopredelennosti. Prichem neopredelennosti kak statisticheskie (malo sobytii), tak i sistematicheskie. Kak neodnokratno otmechali raznye avtory, tol'ko eksperiment novogo pokoleniya (Ozhe - Auger) smozhet dat' neobhodimye dannye dlya resheniya zagadki kosmicheskih luchei sverhvysokih energii.

Postroenie teorii kvantovoi gravitacii - odna iz osnovnyh celei sovremennoi fundamental'noi fiziki. Vse bolee-menee razumnye popytki sdelat' eto vklyuchayut dopolnitel'nye izmereniya. Inogda eti dopolnitel'nye izmereniya imeyut malyi razmer, inogda - bol'shoi.

Dostatochno davno obsuzhdaetsya vozmozhnost' proverki teorii kvantovoi gravitacii po nablyudeniyam kosmicheskih luchei (podrazumevaem zdes' pod etim protony i yadra) i gamma-kvantov vysokih energii. Oba etih napravleniya seichas aktivno razvivayutsya, i my ne raz ob etom pisali (sm. arhivy). V dannom obzore rech' idet o nablyudeniyah gamma-kvantov na nazemnyh ustanovkah (o razlichnyh eksperimentah sm. spisok). Osnovnoi metod zaklyuchaetsya i poiske narusheniya Lorenc-invariantnosti. Pri etom skorost' rasprostranenii fotonov raznoi energii budet razlichnoi. Sootvetstvenno, esli byl uzkii (po vremeni) vsplesk, soderzhashii fotony raznyh chastot, to po mere rasprostraneniya impul's budet ushiryat'sya (mozhno skazat' "za schet vzaimodeistviya s vakuumom"). Sovremennye dannye pozvolyayut postavit' dostatochno zhestkie predely na takoe ushirenie, chtoby eto bylo interesno s tochki zreniya proverki predskazaniya teorii. Razumeetsya, novye eksperimenty dayut bolee zhestkie predely (svyazano eto v pervuyu ochered' s uvelicheniem razmera zerkala, chto pozvolyaet nabirat' bolee horoshuyu statistiku).

Mozhno takzhe porekomendovat' stat'yu Blank i dr., gde dostatochno podrobno razobrano, kak nablyudeniya na nazemnyh gamma-teleskopah mogut davat' ogranicheniya na parametry novyh teorii.
