V poslednie gody stalo vozmozhnym nablyudat' s horoshim razresheniem galaktiki na bol'shih krasnyh smesheniyah. Tam v srednem temp zvezdoobrazovaniya vyshe - sootvetstvenno, sil'nee vetra.

    Vetra vazhny ne tol'ko sami po sebe, no i kak mehanizm peremeshivaniya himicheskih elementov vnutri galaktik, a takzhe kak mehanizm vybrosa elementov v mezhgalakticheskuyu sredu. Tema eta ne samaya obsuzhdaemaya v populyarnoi literature, tak chto horoshii ponyatnyi obzor budet kak nel'zya k stati.

Znachit, tam vyshe i veroyatnost' vstretit' molodoi magnitar. Takie istochniki mogut davat' ili bolee moshnye vspyshki (iz-za bOl'shego magnitnogo polya i men'shih periodov vrasheniya), ili zhe prosto vspyshki mogut idti chashe (tak, naprimer, glitchi radiopul'sarov chashe proishodyat u molodyh neitronnyh zvezd, gigantskie vspyshki mogut byt' svyazany s glitchami, t.o. estestvenno predpolozhit' rost ih chisla s umen'sheniem vozrasta neitronnoi zvezdy).
