Na kakoe-to vremya neitronnaya zvezda mozhet izbezhat' kollapsa, kotoryi, odnako, neizbezhen.

    Avtory proveli detal'noe modelirovanie s uchetom magnitnyh polei i effektov obshei teorii otnositel'nosti. Raschety pokazyvayut, chto kollaps gipermassivnoi neitronnoi zvezdy v chernuyu dyru mozhet yavlyat'sya horoshim kandidatom v mehanizmy, otvechayushie za korotkie gamma-vspleski.
