Esli schitat', chto massy komponent primerno ravny, to poluchaetsya, chto neitronye zvezdy rodilis' s massami <1.4 massy Solnca. Eto uzhe vos'maya sistema, gde tochno izmereny massy obeih komponent. Vo vseh sistemah dlya zvezd, na kotorye ne bylo sushestvennoi akkrecii (t.e. oni ne mogli sushestvenno uvelichit' svoyu massu posle rozhdeniya), nachal'nye massy men'she 1.4 mass Solnca. Lichnyi interes zaklyuchaetsya v tom, chto t.o. moya ocenka spektra nachal'nyh mass neitronnyh zvezd v okrestnostyah solnca, kotoryi my ispol'zuem v populyacionno sinteze, poluchaet sushestvennoe nablyudatel'noe podtverzhdenie.

T.o. ne isklyucheno, chto novyi tip istochnikov mozhet byt' svyazan i s propellerami. Periody nemnogo korotkovaty, no eto mozhet byt' svyazano s bolee slabym magnitnym polem.
