T.e., po suti svoei, po fizike, on dolzhen byt' otnesen k korotkim. 4 sekundy eto ne tak daleko ot formal'nogo predela, a raspredeleniya dlinnyh i korotkih vspleskov po prodolzhitel'nosti sovershenno tochno dolzhny perekryvat'sya. Pravda, esli eto standartnyi korotkii vsplesk, to nado ob'yasnyat', kak on uspel poyavit'sya vsego lish' cherez 10 millionov let posle rozhdeniya praroditelya. Seichas naibolee populyarnoi gipotezoi o mehanizme korotkih vspleskov yavlyaetsya sliyanie dvuh kompaktnyh ob'ektov (dvuh neitronnyh zvezd ili neitronnoi zvezdy i chernoi dyry). Sliyanie vsego lish' cherez 10 millionov let posle rozhdeniya zvezd - eto na predele vozmozhnogo.

    Skoree vsego okazhetsya, chto ocenki, sdelannye etoi stat'e, soderzhat v sebe kakuyu-to neuchtennuyu neopredelennost'. Tem ne menee, rezul'tat zasluzhivaet vnimaniya.
