Avtory predstavlyayut analiz, soglasno kotoromu u pervogo identificirovannogo kvazara 3C273 (umestno upomyanut', chto Martin Shmidt 28 maya etogo goda poluchil premiyu Kavli za otkrytie kvazarov) est' kvazaperiod.
