V takom sluchae my budem nablyudat' dovol'no strannye struktury, "procherchennye" oblastyami burnogo zvezdoobrazovaniya.

    Izvestny t.n. cepnye galaktiki (chain galaxies). Eto obrazovaniya, nablyudaemye kak cepochka sgushenii (na illyustracii - sleva).

    V etoi rabote avtory izuchili ryad izobrazhenii cepnyh galaktik i menee vytyanutyh sgushenii (na illyustracii v centre i sprava). Oni prishli k vyvodu, chto cepnye galaktiki - eto diskovye galaktiki bez spiral'noi struktury, no s ryadom oblastei zvezdoobrazovaniya, vidimye s rebra. Esli my vidim takuyu galaktiku ne s rebra, a plashmya, to nablyudaetsya prosto sgustok otdel'nyh "pyaten".
