Razreshenie sostavlyalo 0.17'' x 0.13'', chto sootvetstvuet primerno 1 kpk dlya dannoi dalekoi galaktiki. Avtoram udalos' razreshit' (t.e. rassmotret') strukturu raspredeleniya molekulyarnogo gaza v stol' dalekom ob'ekte! Blagodarya etomu udalos' opredelit' massu gaza, a takzhe polnuyu dinamicheskuyu massu v ob'eme, zanimaemom gazom. I zdes', vozmozhno, taitsya deistvitel'no vazhnoe otkrytie. Delo v tom, chto seichas po izmereniyam bolee blizkih galaktik s chernymi dyrami izvestno sootnoshenie mezhdu massoi central'noi chernoi dyry i massoi baldzha (sfericheskoi sostavlyayushei galaktiki). Tak vot, dlya ob'ekta, issledovannogo v etoi stat'e, takoe uslovie vidimo ne vypolnyaetsya. Eto mozhet oznachat', chto chernye dyry formiruyutsya ran'she baldzha (t.e. nastol'ko rano, chto dazhe massa dlya formirovaniya baldzha eshe ne sobrana).

Odnako Solpiterovskaya funkciya uspeshno ob'yasnyaet mnogo faktov, kasayushihsya massivnyh zvezd. Naprimer, Solpiterovskii zakon v oblasti 1<M<40Mo sootvetstvuet nablyudeniyam: on predskazyvaet izbytok proizvedennyh zvezdami tyazhelyh elementov (kisloroda i kremniya) v skopleniyah galaktik. Takzhe uspeshno ob'yasnyaetsya evolyuciyu ellipticheskih galaktik v skopleniyah. T.o. solpiterovskaya funkciya uspeshno ob'yasnyaet nablyudeniya dlya zvezdnym mass >1 solnechnoi.
