V671 Ori was discovered as an Algol-type variable
by Hoffmeister (1967). Its orbital period
has
remained unknown until now. The Opical Monitoring Camera (Mas-Hesse et al.,
2003) on board the INTEGRAL spacecraft obtained 620 V-band observations
on JD 2452932 - 2453793. These observations are available via
the OMC Data Server (Gutierrez et al., 2004; https://sdc.laeff.inta.es/omc/secure/form_busqueda.jsp).
We used the Peranso software to determine
the orbital period of the eclipsing system.
Min II = 13.8.
The light elements are: Min = HJD2452932.63 + 0.66334d E. Acknowledgements: This research is based on the data from the OMC Archive at LAEFF, pre-processed by ISDC. The author is grateful to K.V. Sokolovsky for his suggestion to find the period of V671 Ori and to S.V. Antipin for helpful discussion. |
